Data We Collect
NeighborScore collects data you voluntarily provide, such as details submitted through the realtor connection form: name, email, phone, ZIP code, and timeline. We do not collect precise GPS location through browser geolocation on our neighborhood pages, but our analytics and advertising providers may collect usage, approximate location, device, browser, and cookie or identifier data as described below.
Cookies
NeighborScore and its third-party partners use cookies and similar tracking technologies (such as pixel tags and device identifiers) to operate the site, analyze usage, and serve relevant advertising. Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may affect site functionality. Third-party cookies set by Google Analytics and Google AdSense are governed by Google's own privacy policies.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand site usage and improve NeighborScore. Google Analytics may collect page views, session activity, approximate location such as city, device and browser information, operating system details, screen resolution, and similar technical data.
We have enabled Google signals and granular location and device data collection in Google Analytics. When available, Google may associate Analytics data from our site with visitation information from users who are signed in to Google and have consented to ads personalization. This can support aggregated reporting such as demographics, interests, cross-device activity, advertising measurement, and related Google Analytics Advertising Features.
NeighborScore and third-party vendors, including Google, may use first-party cookies or identifiers and third-party cookies or identifiers together for analytics, advertising measurement, and reporting. You can opt out using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on and manage Google ad personalization in Google Ad Settings.
Advertising
NeighborScore displays advertisements via Google AdSense. AdSense may use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure ads, including personalized ads where permitted. You can manage ad personalization in Google Ad Settings.
California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect about you, to request deletion of that information, and to opt out of the sale of your personal information. NeighborScore does not sell personal information in exchange for money. However, sharing data with advertising partners such as Google AdSense may constitute a "sale" or "sharing" under California law. To opt out, you may use Google Ad Settings or contact us at support@neighborscore.app with "California Privacy Request" in the subject line.
European Users (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, Google's advertising services operate under the EU User Consent Policy. Where required, consent for personalized advertising is obtained through Google's consent management framework. You may withdraw consent at any time via Google Ad Settings.
Children's Privacy
NeighborScore is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Referral Fees
NeighborScore may receive referral fees when users connect with real estate professionals through our platform. This does not affect the objectivity of our neighborhood scores, which are derived solely from public data.
